It seems the world still needs more Superheroes. Even a reluctant one like Hancock. Have we not had enough yet? Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and just so we don't forget, Spiderman: Web Of Shadows is soon to be released on the Xbox 360.
I used to love summer movie releases. I remember queuing up to see Jurrasic Park or Independence Day or Phantom Of The Menace. I mean they were proper queues. Ones that stretched around the block. So when Hancock was released, there were two people in front of me. What happened to the summer blockbuster? I tell you. It was Spiderman's fault.
After Spiderman raked in 2002, a 114 million dollars in one weekend, every studio decides to hijack every summer with men in tights since then. Or in the case of Hancock : A tea pot cosier on his head. So a lot of game publishers follow suit. So where's a Hancock game? Where's Batman:Dark Knight game? Surely we don't need another Spiderman game. He was the one that started this superhero malarkey. Just take Spiderman out and put in Hancock and make the Batman the villain. No one will notice. I swear they won't. Not until they remake Incredible Hulk AGAIN as this one was not the right green.
